Founded in 1977, Harvard Korea Society (HKS) is a non-profit umbrella organization that encompasses all ten of the Harvard Graduate Schools (Arts & Science, Business, Dental, Design, Divinity, Education, Government, Law, Medicine, and Public Health). Historically, HKS was aimed at catering to the Korean student population at Harvard, by bringing together the varied academic interests of the membership by building on a common heritage. However, throughout the years, HKS has expanded its goals to serve as the unified representative Korean graduate student body of Harvard.
